Review | Lorac Mega Pro Palette

To be quite honest with you, when the Lorac Mega Pro Palette was first released about a month or so ago I didn’t really get the hype. However after having watched Tati’s video (GlamLifeGuru on Youtube) where she ranked the Lorac Mega Pro as her top holiday palette, I just knew I had to get it. So after what felt like an eternity (which was really only 2 weeks), I finally received my Lorac Mega Pro Palette this morning in the mail! Naturally, as soon as I got the packaging open I had to stick my fingers in and have a little play. From someone who had never previously touched let alone used a Lorac shadow before, I was amazed by their pigmentation and buttery texture. I had always seen people go on and on about the first and second Pro Palettes and now I totally get it. Unfortunately Lorac is a little bit harder to get a hold of in Australia however, Amazon does ship direct from the US for a reasonable amount. I apologise if it has already sold out again on Amazon or other websites online but if you are able to get your hands on this baby, I recommend you never let go!

The Lorac Mega Pro consists of 32 shadows – 16 of which are matte and 16 are shimmer. This palette includes a range of shades from your typical neutrals all the way to some more colourful shades, providing you with eyeshadow options for days (probably even weeks)!  Usually I find that with some eyeshadow palettes, there are inconsistencies between shadows. Sometimes they will have matte shades with that are smooth and have great pigmentations but then the shimmery shades just turn into a pile of glitter and vice versa. But as mentioned previously the texture of the shadows are buttery, soft and so easy to blend and not one single shadow lacks pigmentation. If you would like me to do an eye look with this palette, let me know in the comments!

Did you manage to get your hands on this palette and if so, what are you favourite shades?

Great review, the top row looks amazing! I have the Lorac Pro ad Pro 2 so, didn’t feel the need to try and get this palette. Also it was too difficult to get it where I live. I bet you are going to have lots of fun creating so many different looks!!

  2. All of the shades are absolutely gorgeous, and the formula is amazing! I have the first Lorac Pro palette, so I know that from experience! It sucks so much that it sold out so quickly. I really hope they bring it back, or make it permanent, or something!

    • Yeah hopefully they’ll be bringing more in stock because I missed out on the first round of orders but they restocked it again on amazon so keep your eyes open for it! xx

  3. I want! It’s so beautiful, though its a shame there’s not more cool toned colours. I have some many warm palettes I feel like I lot of these shades are similar to ones I already have.

  5. I absolutely love this palette! I was lucky enough and was able to snag it on the release day (I’m a bit crazy). Also I really love how you took pictures of your swatches next to the line of shadows!

Thanks for the swatches! I love the blush and sand colors! I’ve been thinking about eventually getting some lorac makeup. Definitely gonna consider this pallet.
