Collective Makeup Haul | Sephora, Nars, Australis

So recently I have been doing quite a bit of online shopping to get into the spirit of giving. And by spirit of giving, I mean giving to myself. A girl’s just got to treat herself every now and then and with most big companies coming out with some killer Christmas sets, I really couldn’t help myself. So I placed an order through Sephora. I had recently heard about a company called Shop and Box and had read some really good reviews of it so I decided to try it myself and WOW. I would highly recommend this service to anyone around the world who is looking for an easier, cheaper way to shop online. Shop and Box works by providing you with a “boxer” in the country of your choice. They currently have “boxers” in 11 different countries including the US, UK, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and France. Firstly you make yourself a wishlist of the items you want to purchase. You can then choose all or some or one of these items to place into an order. This is when you are assigned a “boxer”. Once you have been assigned your boxer you will start communicating with them through direct message so that they are able to find out exactly what it is you want. After clarification of items has been sorted you will then pay your first invoice (which is the total cost of the items you wish to purchase). The boxer will then place an order for you for the desired items. Because I only ordered from Sephora, my boxer was able to receive my package within 2 days (however you are able to order from multiple sites/stores which may take a little longer). She then contacted me explaining that she had received the package and even took a photo of the items. You are then required to pay the second invoice which is the shipping cost and servicing fee. From what I have heard in comparison to other companies, Shop and Box’s fees are very reasonable and only took 5 days to arrive from the date I placed my order to the date I received it. I am beyond impressed and will definitely be using Shop and Box in the future.

So this is all the items in my collective haul and you can definitely see I’ve been busy! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to test most of these products out yet however I will be starting to within the next few days so let me know if you would like to see more of an in depth review of any.

The Urban Decay Full Frontal Lipstick Set is an amazing set with 6 gorgeously coloured mini revolution lipsticks. It retails for $39USD which I personally think is an absolute bargain! I have had a chance to swatch these on my hand and they are incredibly pigmented and creamy.

I was so gutted when Tarte sold out of their limited edition cheek palette for Christmas last year so this year I made it my mission that I would get this palette. It is the Tarte (obviously) Pin Up Girl Cheek Palette which retails for $42USD and contains 5 of their amazing 12hr amazonian clay blushers in the shades Breathless, Embraces, Whimsy, Bashful and Irreplaceable. I haven’t had a chance to swatch them yet unfortunately, although I kind of don’t want to touch it because it’s so pretty!

The other items I also purchased through Sephora were the Fresh Sugar Cravings Kissing Trio ($28USD), the Bobbi Brown Nude on Nude Palette ($65USD) and a Tori Burch Blush in the shade Divine ($42USD).

I also made a little purchase through Australis Cosmetics for their AC on Tour Contouring and Highlighting Set which retails for only $16.95AUD. I was intrigued by this palette as I have not been able to get my hands on the Anastasia equivalent that has been highly recommended throughout the beauty community.

Finally, the lovely people at Nars were kind and generous enough to send me a couple items. I received the eyeshadow duo in Jardin Perdu which has a gorgeous purple shade and a beautiful silver colour and the Larger Than Life Eyeliner in Night Flight.

All of these photos have also been featured over on my Instagram so you can check them out and keep updated there if you’d like to as well.

What are some of your favourite new items or holidays sets? If you would like me to talk more in depth about any of these products, please leave me a comment letting me know!

  1. This haul is really nice! My only thing about the whole Shop and Box thing is that if you order only from one store like you did, then what’s the point of having a middle man? Is the shipping less costly?

  2. It’s so hard to find the Australis contour kit in stores! It’s ALWAYS sold out! so annoying :/ I really don’t want to pay for shipping haha

  3. Absolutely amazing haul! I’ve never heard of Shop & Box but the concept sounds awesome. The shipping sounds reasonable – some other forwarding services charge so much for shipping! Will definitely consider it if I plan on ordering from overseas. Eeep! I really want to get my hands on the contour palette – it’s selling out quick!
